Tamarind House, perched on a hill in the centre of
Parlatuvier village on the island’s north east coast, provides breathtaking,
uninterrupted views of both the oldest protected rainforest in the Western
hemisphere and one of the most attractive bays along the island’s Caribbean
coastline.
Convenient access into the driveway from the main road
leads to this thoughtfully designed and very comfortable log home, completed
in April 2007.

From the verandas, pool, terrace and garden, guests can
relax and watch the day go by - fishing boats leaving early and arriving
with the catch mid afternoon, the daily migration of orange winged parrots,
cocricos, egrets and corn birds to and from their favourite roosts, and much
more besides. With the beach an easy stroll of 4 or 5 minutes away there is
ample opportunity to swim and snorkel amongst coral reefs fringing the rocks
on either side of the bay.
