Tosca in Tobago is just that - a pretty blue-roofed opera of a house,
set high on a ridge overlooking Buccoo Reef and the Caribbean sea. Each of its 3
bedrooms has individual air-conditioning and a double bed - the Terrace Room has
two and The Master Suite a king-size. In addition there are two ‘floating’ sofa
beds, making a comfortable maximum occupancy of 8. All the bedrooms have ensuite
bathrooms with fitted hairdryers, and all have sea views. There is an additional
cloakroom downstairs. The compact kitchen contains all the usual kitchen
appliances, including a dishwasher and both a washing machine and dryer are
provided. The spacious living/dining room has attractive rattan furniture and
direct access to the tiled terrace, with its splash pool, reclining chairs and
family-sized barbeque. The sea view from the terrace, which faces south west, is
particularly magical at sunset. ‘Tosca’ is quarry tiled throughout.
This semi-detached (but very private and secluded) villa is situated on the
secure Sanctuary Villa estate, close to Mt Irvine Bay and up the hill
from the village of Pleasant Prospect, which boasts one of the finest
restaurants on the island – The Indigo - a pub, a shop and the all
important cashpoint, which accepts all major bank cards. The villa is equipped
with cable TV, a Radio/CD player and direct dial telephones. Daily housekeeping
services are included in the rental charge except Sunday, which is Carol's day
off.
