Villa Petrus is situated in two acres of gardens stocked with beautiful tropical flowers and orchards, part of a 400-acre coconut plantation. The Villa has views of the Caribbean in three different directions and there is view for each mood and time of day - the sun setting over Buccoo Reef or the beautiful Vistas of Stone Haven Bay and Courland Bay. It may be that you prefer the lush tropical hillsides covered in coconut palms and every conceivable shade of green. There can be no doubt that Villa Petrus is for those who want to relax in luxurious privacy in a plantation style environment.

Set amongst Tobago's hills, the Villa is constantly caressed by the Trade Winds keeping the insects at bay and the temperature cooler. Guests enjoy abundant birdlife in the day, fireflies by night and a constant supply of fresh fruit and vegetables grown on the property.

Villa Petrus is a plantation style Villa with teakwood floors and cross flow ventilation. It has six bedrooms, comfortably sleeping up to 14 people. There are four suites, two bedrooms and five bathrooms. Each room is air-conditioned, with breathtaking views and the master bedroom is designed to bring those views into the room itself.

You may not want to rush to the sea when you see the Villa's 22 metre fully tiled pool. But if you do, it is a mere five-minute drive away.

One of Villa Petrus' most attractive features is its huge verandahs, which have been designed for relaxation. There are large living and dining areas both indoor and outdoor and two study areas for when privacy and solitude are required. The Villa has full telephone and data communications.  The latest Bose sound system in installed throughout the ground floor rooms and specialist outdoor speakers on the verandah and pool area.

Villa Petrus is designed by Brian Lewis, one of Trinidad's leading architects, constructed by Bruce Holley who is renowned for the quality of his work, its gardens are landscaped by Peter Richards Landscaping Limited and the interiors are all designed by Design Studios Limited.

Tobago is an undiscovered paradise set eleven degrees north of the equator. It is famous for its birds, fish and flora. Local legend has it that it is Robinson Crusoe's island and the Swiss Family Robinson was even filmed here.

The true pleasure of Tobago is its friendly people. There is never a shortage of activities in Tobago for those who want it, but if all you want to do is 'lime' with the locals, you will be welcomed.

Villa Petrus is a five-minute drive away from Mt. Irvine's world class 18 hole Championship Golf Course. There are also a host of restaurants offering an international range of fine dining options, all within easy reach. Three of Tobago's finest beaches are no more than ten minutes drive from the Villa. Tenth Anniversary Pricing and New Seasonal Structure
- High, Middle and Low Seasons

Stay at Villa Petrus for as little as US$38 per person per night in our Low Season. Rental Price Comparison We have reviewed the prices of 5 of the leading hotels in Tobago and averaged their high and low season prices for comparison with our own rental terms. In the High Season the average price per person per night at these hotels was US$89 and this compares with US$52 at Villa Petrus for the same period. Villa Petrus is $37 per person per night less expensive. In the Low Season the average price per person per night at these hotels was US$66 and this compares with US$38 at Villa Petrus for the same period. Villa Petrus is $28 per person per night less expensive. With the luxury facilities offered at Villa Petrus including a 22 metre swimming pool, massive wrap around verandahs, beautiful gardens and air conditioned wine cellar and the ultimate in privacy, we believe that Villa Petrus offers unbeatable value for money. One must also add to this the flexibility that a luxury villa provides. If you wish to conserve expenditure, Villa Petrus has all of the facilities needed to do your own cooking. Alternatively, if you are looking for a complete break from everyday chores then we can recommend good chefs to take care of your cooking requirements. The expense for this would be at your cost but it is the beauty of villa living – your expenses are completely controllable depending upon your budget.

Only 6 or 7 bedroom bookings will be accepted for the Easter and Christmas seasons (the two weeks spanning the Easter weekend and Christmas Day / New years Day, respectively).

3. Rental Car
All six bedroom bookings (in the high season and middle season) include a 5 seater station sedan vehicle as part of the basic price for the duration of the period of accommodation. The rental car will be delivered to the Villa on the morning following the evening of arrival. Included with the vehicle are two deck chairs and an ice cooler.

4. Payment terms
50 percent is payable on acceptance of the booking with the balance payable one month prior to arrival.

5. Damage deposit
A damage deposit of 2 night’s rental is necessary on arrival. This deposit will be refunded on departure less damages and any telephone (see 9. below) and other charges due. If departure is late at night or early in the morning, this deposit will be held until the villa is checked. In this case the monies will be transferred to an account of your choice.

6. Arrival and Departure
Guests will be met at the airport with one vehicle and brought to the Villa and returned to the airport on departure. If an additional vehicle is required the cost of the taxi will be at the guests’ expense.

Arrival time: Not before 2 pm
Departure time: Not later than 11 am

7. Guard Service
A guard service is provided each night and all day on Saturday and Sunday as part of the basic price.

8. Meals
A complimentary welcome pack that includes a Continental style breakfast for the first day is provided as part of the basic price.

Breakfasts, lunches and dinners can be provided for an additional cost. This can be provided on a daily basis or as required.

Guests have the facility of a fully equipped kitchen and modern gas bar-b-que to cook their own meals if preferred including access to any vegetables and fruits grown on the property as part of the basic price.

9. Shopping for groceries
Our Caretaker/Gardener or Housekeeper can advise the best places to buy food and groceries.

10. Wine
The Villa is unique in Tobago in having its own air conditioned wine cellar with stocks of white, rose and red wine which can be purchased by guests. A tab is kept of wine consumed and the bill is settled on departure.

11. Housekeeping
A housekeeping service is provided six days per week as part of the basic price. Laundry is included as part of the basic price but not ironing. Limited ironing can be provided and it will be charged per item by our Housekeeper.

12. Telephone & Internet
Telephone and broadband wifi internet access is available in the Villa. Guests will be charged for usage at the rates charged by TSTT. Payment in full will be set off against the damage deposit, as described above, or otherwise payable prior to departure.

13. Cancellation policy
More than 63 days before arrival - loss of 10% of rental cost
30-62 days before arrival –loss of 50% of rental cost
15-29 days before arrival – loss of 80% of rental cost
Less than 14 days before arrival – loss of 100% of rental cost.

14. Exclusion of liability
The owners of Villa Petrus accept no liability for guests and their belongings for the duration of their stay. It is the responsibility of guests to take out appropriate insurances and otherwise to take measures to ensure their safety and protection during their stay.
